WOMEN IN FILM FOUNDATION GRANT CHECK PRESENTED TO HAPPY FILMMAKERS
On a muggy New York afternoon Terry Lawler, Executive Director
of New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT), handed
Molly Sackler and Jason Wulkowicz a check from the Women in
Film Foundation (WIFF). The check was part of the Finishing
Fund grant WIFF awarded Missing in Action: The Women Behind
Television's Golden Age. The WIFF Finishing Fund grant
will also provide the filmmakers legal assistance and help with
licensing.

Since 1981, The Foundation has enabled filmmakers to finish projects that without WIF's support might not have ever been completed. The Film Finishing Fund has awarded 122 cash and in-kind grants to assist video and filmmakers demonstrating advanced and innovative skills.
